Scaroni attacked on the final climb of the day, Alto de Garbí, together with Antonio Tiberi and Diego Pescador. The leaders managed to gain a small advantage at the summit and extended it on the descent. My teammates did an incredible job from the very first kilometers, so this victory belongs to all of us. Haoyu Su, Nicola Conci and Thomas Silva worked extremely hard in the first half of the race, allowing us to keep everything under control. On the second climb, a few riders launched a dangerous attack, but I didn’t respond immediately and waited for my teammates. After the summit, Diego Ulissi and Clément Champoussin moved to the front and closed the gap. At the start of the final climb, Lorenzo Fortunato went to the front and set an incredible pace, after which I attacked from his wheel. Tiberi and Pescador followed me, and in the end, we managed to get away. There was a strong headwind at the top and on the descent, it wasn’t easy, but we managed to hold our advantage. In the finale, everyone played their cards – I knew that it was crucial to enter the final corner in first position, so I launched my sprint early, gave everything I had, took the lead and after the corner did everything possible to stay in front. The team also finished 4th in the UCI World Team Ranking for 2025 (with 16,711 points)&nbsp;– its best result in the last decade.
